We are the Associate Chapter of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. located at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Kappa Phi Lambda is a Pan-Asian interest sorority upholding the pillars of Sisterhood, Service, and Cultural Diversity. Kappas are represented at over 30 universities with over 4000+ sisters nationwide. We believe in uplifting women while working towards building a more inclusive community!

We are hosting a donation drive in support of CLUES in which we are collecting in-kind donations. This includes non-persishable goods, clothing, toiletries, and school supplies. Please come out and support! Help us donate to an organization who’s work is focused on ensuring the advancement of social, economic equity, and overall wellbeing of Latinos in MN!

Additionally, we are also holding a fruit kebab fundraiser in support of our national philanthropy, CARE!

Please come support whether that means putting in a donation or purchasing a delicious fruit kebab! :)

Chunks of green apple and marshmallows drizzled in caramel and chocolate. Topped with crushed pretzels.

🫶 Half ‘n’ Half kebab
Strawberries, pineapple chunks, and bananas! Half dipped in chocolate, other half left plain.

Advocacy is not limited to the issues directly in front of us or the ones that impact our daily lives. True advocacy requires us to care about injustice wherever it exists, even when it feels distant from our own realities. Our awareness and willingness to engage beyond our immediate surroundings is what makes advocacy meaningful.

Congo and Sudan have endured decades of humanitarian crises driven by violence, displacement, resource exploitation and systemic neglect. These are not isolated emergencies but ongoing, multilayered crises that have been repeatedly overlooked by the global community. In Western spaces especially, silence and disengagement allow these injustices to persist without accountability.

Our perspective matters, and so does our action. As a community, we can educate ourselves, amplify voices from the region and stand in solidarity without centering ourselves. Advocacy is about responsibility, humanity, and refusing to look away because Congo and Sudan to require attention, care, and justice.

I was drawn to KPL after attending my first rush event because I was so welcomed by the friendly girls, I was able to see myself alongside them seamlessly. Kappas has given so many pillars of support, given me invaluable friendships, opportunities to grow, and the exact community I was searching for.

𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐓𝐢𝐩: Rush may seem intimidating, but when you go to your first rush event, you will realize they’re essentially our sisters wanting to have fun and get to know you! Rush should be a fun and exciting experience for you, not at all something scary!
